Hello my name is Casey. I’m an Indian Crested Porcupine, I’m also in the rodent family. I can live in a habitat ranging from dense forest to semi desert. I also like to share my burrows with my small family group. Here at Wildlife Safari the keepers feed me spinach, yams, carrots, apples, bananas, primate biscuits and complete feed known as ADF 16. My personal favorite food is yams and I love to be scratched under my chin and behind the ears. If I were to feel threatened I would raise up my quills and by doing this I would double in size! I will Rattle my tail and run backward at you as fast as I can.
