THE BROWN BEAR
(Ursus arctos)

The brown bear inhabits the forests of Alaska and Canada.  They eat Salmon, roots, berries and other fruits.  They weigh up to 1,700lbs. 

1-3 cubs are born after a gestation period of 180-250 days.
