In this picture, Ron Miller is driving the backhoe, delivering more
Arborvitae for the hedge. Nick is patiently awaiting more work.
Note that the gravel has been spread for the building. On the 19th,
a compactor will be delivered to compact the gravel in preparation for
pouring the footings and the floor. Wolf Creek Job Corps should arrive
on Monday to begin construction.

In this photo, Ron Miller is placing the last of the gravel for the
footings and floor. In total, 80 yards of 1" minus crushed rock was
put down. The footing gravel was 2' deep and 2' wide. 1' of
gravel was placed for the floor over the black clay of the site.
The trench for the footing went down to the soft shale beneath the clay
layer.

In the foreground, Bob Schneider is doing the finishing touches on
the grading of the site. Earlier, Ron had leveled the huge pile of
muck that came out of the building side excavation. Top Soil and
zoodoo will be placed over the clay and lawn will be installed. In
the background, Ron is finishing up the gravel placement for the concrete
pour. We are now ready to form for the floor.
