Lessons include: NATURAL RESOURCES
"Who Lives Here" (1/2 hour classroom, 1 hour field activity) In this lesson, students will investigate wildlife habitat.
Concepts include Population, System, Organism.
"The Range Environment" (1 hour classroom, 1 hour field activity) In this lesson, students will learn how to observe and record
observations about the various elements in the range habitat.
"Introduction to the Riparian Environment" (1/2 hour classroom, 1 hour field activity) In this lesson, students will learn about the elements found in
the riparian environment, and how they relate to each other.
LEARN ABOUT THE ANIMALS
"Sense-ational Animals" (1/2 hour instruction, 1/2 hour interaction) In this lesson, students will delve into the world of animal sensory
systems, and how they use their senses to survive.
"Amazing Adaptations" (1/2 hour instruction, 1/2 hour interaction) In this lesson, students animals adapt to their surroundings and
conditions.
"Backyard Neighbors" (1/2 hour instruction, 1/2 hour interaction) In this lesson, students meet an assortment of native North American
Animals.
