HORTICULTURE
  
ORNAMENTAL:  The development of garden areas around the park to provide people habitat for our visitors.
  
RANGELAND RESOURCES: The management of the biotic and abiotic elements in the Wildlife Safari Watershed.  Managing the production of forage, and  the development of animal habitat.
  
RIPARIAN MANAGEMENT PLAN:  Programs to manage the avaiability and quality of water for the benefit of the habitat.
  
WATER REUSE PLAN:  A program in cooperation with the City of Winston and the Winston-Green Waste Water Treatment Facility to improve the quality and quantity of water in the local river system.
 
  
WETLAND CREATION PROJECT:   A program of wetland banking credits with Douglas County.  Road construction in the local watershed is being mitigated with 6 acres of wetland in the Wildlife Safari watershed.
  
WETLAND INTERPRETIVE PROJECT:   A grant from the Association of Zoological Horticulture funded a village wetland display to introduce the Wetland Creation Project in the Drive Thru.
