mourn the loss of one of our Giraffes Keele. Keele had to be
humanely euthanized on March 26, 2006 due to a serious medical
condition. Keele was a reticulated giraffe; he was born on
February 4, 1991 at Six Flags Marine World, California. He came
to Wildlife Safari in 1993 and lived a wonderful life with his
keepers who cared for him and loved him dearly. Keele will be
deeply mourned for by his Keepers and Safari Guests alike.
Wildlife Safari is a non-profit organization dedicated to the
conservation, education and research of native and exotic
animals. Wildlife Safari opened to the public in the spring of
1973. Located on 600 acres of land in Winston, Oregon, Wildlife
Safari is the Northwests only drive-through wild animal park.
