Academics at ONRRI
ONRRI is a research institute dedicated
to enriching the educational experience of all students. As a non-academic
institute, ONRRI does not have any degree programs, but students receive
an education here rich in the interdisciplinary experience on which ONRRI
was founded. K-12, undergraduate and graduate students will work with scientists
at our institute in a variety of subjects. The primary goal is to teach
math and science through the study of our natural resource systems.
Graduate students working toward higher degrees under the direction of
ONRRI scientists must be enrolled in an academic department through an
accredited graduate school. The academic departments presently
number eleven. They are:
-
Bio-Engineering
-
Water Quality Testing
-
Water shed management
-
Geographical Information Systems
-
Alternative Energy studies
-
Soil Sciences
-
Vegetation surveys
-
Plant Toxicity
-
