HABITAT
Forested areas in southwest Madagascar. 
Stony ground with little vegetation.
DIET
Omnivorous: Fruits (bananas and wild figs), flowers, leaves, grasses, greens, bark,
insects and eggs.

Lives in groups of 5-30 members.  Young are carried over the mother's belly, then moved to her back.  Young are raised by the entire group, more by the females than by
the males.  Ring-tails are often referred to as "sun worshippers" due to their sun-bathing activity
