ANIMALS IN OUR VILLAGE |
|
|
Animals in the African Drive Thru Section |
The african section of the drive through is about 85 acres of open
grassland with wooded areas. Along the streams visitors will find
stands of Oregon Ash, while in the open areas are mixed stands of Madrone
and Oregon White Oak. |
|
|
Animals in the Asian Drive Thru Section |
The asia section is about 70 acres of open grassland with wooded streams.
Unlike the africa section, most of the trees are located in the stream
system. There you will find both Oregon Ash and Oregon White Oak. |
|
|
Animals in the Americas Section |
The americas section is a little over 55 acres, and is heavily wooded,
with very steam hillsides. Animals are well hidden in the brush.
As time goes, the animals will reduce the vegetation to more the appearance
of the african section. Dominate tree species are Oregon White Oak,
Madrone, and Douglas Fir. |
